Holiday in all courts of the state including Allahabad High Court on the occasion of Dr. Ambedkar Jayanti

The Allahabad High Court has declared a holiday for all courts in the state on April 14 on occasion of Dr. BR Ambedkar's birth anniversary.                                                                   The High Court has issued a notice saying that 14 April 2023 should be declared a holiday in all courts of Uttar Pradesh on the occasion of Dr. BR Ambedkar Jayanti under Section 25 of the Negotiable Instrument Act.                                            People celebrate the birthday of Dr BR Ambedkar, born on 14 April 1891, as Samata Divas.Dr. Ambedkar was a famous jurist, social and political activist, the creator of the Indian Constitution.Along with this, he was a historian, writer, speaker, economist and scholar.Due to his deep interest in religion, he studied all religions thoroughly.                                                       Dr Ambedkar devoted his entire life to raising the voice of the downtrodden and the oppressed.He was engaged in eradicating social evils like untouchability throughout his life.Dr. Ambedkar was an advocate of equality.                                                         Dr. Ambedkar was awarded the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian award in the year 1990.
