Installation of CCTV cameras in the Spa is a violation of fundamental right.Rest is also a fundamental right

Madurai Bench of Madras High court has said the right to rest is also included in Article 21 of the constitution.therefore, the order to install CCTV cameras inside the Spa, Massage parlor premises is a violation of the fundamental right of the privacy. the court said that the right of privacy under Article 21 of the constitution includes the right of a person to relax in Spa.Installing CCTV cameras infringe on a person's physical.this is the violated place where the eyess of the state are not allowed to enter.                                                Justice G R Swaminathan remarks were made while disposing of a petition seeking a direction to the Tiruchirapalli police to issue No objection certificate. the court said that the installation of CCTV cameras inside the Spa Massage parlor is a violation of Article 21 of the constitution. the court said CCTV cameras can not be installed at some places unless there is a legal requirement. the court said that the places where the installing CCTV cameras can violate the right to privacy of the people ,it needs to be considered seriously and the Government should consider it judiciously.right methods should be found for proper use of rules.based on the suspicion that unethical activities are conducted in Spa, Massage parlor can not violate the fundamental right to rest privacy of any person.
