The construction work of the country's largest High Court, many times bigger than the Supreme Court, has been completed.The country's largest High Court is built in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand.Which is going to be inaugurated tomorrow on May 24 by His Excellency President Draupati Murmu. Apart from the Chief Guest Honorable President, Chief Justice of India D.Y. Chandrachud, Governer of Jharkhand C.P. Radhakrishnan as Guest of Honor and Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Supreme Court Judge Justice Aniruddha Bose,Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, Jharkhand High Court Chief Justice Sanjay Kumar Mishra as Special Guest and many dignitaries were present at the inauguration ceremony. While the Supreme Court campus is spread over 22 acres, the Jharkhand High Court campus is spread over 165 acres. About 550 crore rupees have been spent in the construction of this complex. 25 grand air-conditioned court rooms have been made in the complex, In addition to two huge halls, 540 chambers have been constructed for the advocates to sit. Advocate General Bhavan has been constructed for the Advocate General and Additional Advocate General. Chambers have also been made for all government lawyers. A 30000 sq. ft. library building has been built for the study of judges. There are about 500000 books in the library. For security, 500 CCTV cameras have been installed in the campus and barracks have been constructed for the policemen. A parking lot with a parking capacity of two thousand vehicles has also been made for parking of vehicles. Solar power plant has been installed for power supply, 2000 KV capacity generator has also been arranged to provide extra power backup.A large number of trees have also been planted to keep the High Court campus green.
