It's a shame to call a man impotent in public, the High Court ordered the release of husband accused of killing the wife.

The Bombay High Court said that calling a man impotent in public is a matter of shame and disgrace. The High Court has ordered the release of the husband accused of killing the wife. The High Court has said that when the accused husband was going to work,then the husband got angry by calling his impotent, when the accused husband is the father of three children.
According to the case, Nandu Survase was married to a woman named Shakuntala. The couple had two sons and a daughter from a married life of fifteen years.
Due to family dispute,both were living seperately. On 28 August 2009, when Nandu was going to work. His wife Shakuntala,who was present at the bus depot, allegedly caught his colour and started abusing her.
According to eyewitness accounts of the case, Shakuntala repeatedly humiliated him by calling him impotent. The court relied on the testimony of an eyewitness who was an independent witness in the case. The accused had argued that the abuses against him and the scathing remarks made against his honour had seriously provoked him.
A division bench of Justice Sadhna Jadhav and Justice Prithviraj Chavhan, after hearing both the sides, converted the murder charges against the accused husband to culpable homicide not amounting to murder. The High Court reduced the life sentence of Nandu Survase to 12 years. The accused husband had already spent 12 years in jail,so the court has ordered his immediate release.
